Tip from Heather - Shake up your bead release!
Before you shake up your bead release* drop in 4-6 not so perfect beads. Put the lid back on and shake. The beads help mix up the release.
*My favorite bead release is made by Fusion Products International.

Private Classes ....
I have always been amazed at how quickly my students progress with me observing the nuances of their working style as I stand right over their shoulder. I've realized that with a little extra individual problem solving time, I can help you move months a head with your beadmaking skills.

With this in mind I decided to offer private beadmaking lessons. A private class is for the student who would prefer to work in a quiet, one-on-one situation and advance their skills quickly. All the attention is focused on you!

Glass Buttons...

I feel like I am on a one-woman campaign to promote glass buttons. Yes, my buttons are a trifle unorthodox but they sure are fun! My clients are doing fabulous work in felting, quilting and knitting; their work deserves the accent of an outstanding glass button, don't you think?

See my "Buttons @ Play Gallery" - a photo gallery of my buttons being used by my clients.

If you have a photo showing one of my buttons in your work, I'd love to see it. Send a photo to beads@heathertrimlett.com and it may show up in the gallery!

Heather's Garden Party
A Day in the Garden with Heather Trimlett & Friends

Despite the rain………the Garden Show was a huge success!

It’s funny how a situation that seemed like a problem turned out to be something great. The weather had turned the yard into a garden of puddles so with the help of many amazing friends we emptied three rooms of furniture, cleaned the studio and hung drapes throughout. Thanks to this quick redesign we created a wonderful, warm and cozy setting for all the artists to show their work.

250 brave souls ventured out to enjoy the art, the cookies and the company. We had such a good time we are thinking of extending the show next year to include Friday evening.

Thanks again to all my artists and clients, you are all such good sports!
